Well Child Exams
Well child exams are routine physical examinations for children ages 0-18. This type of exam helps identify problems before they start.
Along with discussing health concerns with Su, we will conduct a hearing test, vision test, urinalysis, and a hemoglobin test, among other tests to assess your child's development and current state of health.
Hormone Consults are exams that assess men and women's hormone levels.
This exam serves to establish hormone balance.
Home visits are appointments in which Su will go to the patient's home to conduct an exam.
Typically these visits are for patients who do not wish to come to the office, newborn patients, or patients who are very sick.
Newborn Screens test for conditions that can affect a child's long-term health and development. The screen involves using a few drops of blood from the newborn's heel.
The newborn screen is typically conducted in the family's home within the first week of birth.
Routine Check Ups
This type of exam helps identify problems before they start. It also allows patients to discuss current health concerns with Su.
Routine check ups can be scheduled on an annual basis, or in short term periods depending on the patient's medical conditions and concerns.
Su will recommend diagnostic testing at a laboratory, radiology center, etc. when seeking to detect an irregularity or diagnose a patient.
We also have specialty testing for our patients. This testing includes looking at the prevalence of different neurotransmitters, identifying bacteria present in the digestive tract, and much more.
If the patient is not available for an appointment or needs to speak with Su before our next available appointment, the patient may request a phone appointment at a scheduled time with Su.
Su will call the patient to discuss their current health condition and concerns. In addition, she will provide advice for improving on the patient's specific medical concerns. Phone consults may also be scheduled for prescription requests or referrals.
Travel appointments are for patients that are planning to leave the country. We provide the vaccinations required for travel.
During this appointment, Su will discuss travel plans with the patient to ensure health and safety for the trip.
